—Expanding Creative Possibilities for the Diversifying Video Landscape—
Tokyo, Japan, April 9, 2026 – Panasonic Corporation announced today that it will participate in the 2026 NAB Show, the world's largest broadcast-equipment trade show, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 19 to 22. Panasonic will showcase next-generation solutions that offer creative new possibilities for the increasingly diverse video-production landscape.
The Panasonic booth, located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth C3509), is organized around the theme "Experience the Complete AV Ecosystem." The main zone, entitled "Welcome to the Arena!," will simulate real-world applications in sports venues to demonstrate how Panasonic's latest technologies support and enhance live productions. Additionally, a dedicated studio zone will address the growing demand for live streaming and podcast production by highlighting AI-driven and efficiency solutions, particularly PTZ camera systems.
High-impact venue productions using LED displays are becoming standard for sports and other live entertainment events. However, high-end visual productions typically require extensive equipment and a large team of specialists, often leading to increased costs as creative ambitions grow. The Arena Zone will present a stage surrounded by LED displays to demonstrate capture, staging and streaming solutions that offer ways for overcoming these challenges. Visitors will learn about innovative workflows centered on the IT/IP platform KAIROS and advanced camera systems, clearing operational hurdles while maximizing creative impact.
The Arena Zone will present a complete camera ecosystem that supports every stage of production, from capture to presentation and streaming. The exhibit will focus on two objectives: improving visual quality and optimizing production workflows for sports and live-entertainment venues.
- AW-UE160W/K and AW-UE150AW/AK high-end PTZ camera series, optimized for live entertainment
- AW-UB50 compact box-style camera and highly agile AG-CX370 and AG-CX20 memory card camera recorders
- LUMIX digital cameras, including the DC-S1M2 and DC-S1RM2
Panasonic's booth at the 2026 NAB Show will unveil Image Adjust Pro, a powerful software plug-in for the Media Production Suite that enables status monitoring and image adjustment for studio and PTZ cameras from a PC or tablet. Visitors will be able to connect to cameras throughout the booth and experience operations in a simulated live production environment.
Panasonic will present the groundbreaking capabilities of KAIROS for live entertainment at hands-on stations in the booth. KAIROS redefines the traditional functions of live switchers by offering an IT/IP-based architecture for selecting any desired resolution—not just the standard 16:9 aspect ratio*3—for supporting LED displays of various shapes and pixel pitches. This flexible capability of KAIROS will be on full display in the booth's visual productions.
In response to the rising demand for podcasting and social media video content, there is an increasing need for high-quality production in compact spaces with simplified operations. At the 2026 NAB Show, Panasonic will create a dedicated streaming studio. Visitors will learn about the latest production-efficiency solutions, centered on Panasonic PTZ camera systems and the Media Production Suite—a flexible software platform that allows users to activate various features as needed.
This software uses AI-based detection of human subjects and sophisticated PTZ camera control to automatically deliver professional-grade framing. The result is stable, high-quality compositions without manual camera operation, even for moving subjects.
This software uses advanced AI to create various image compositions during live streaming. It includes AI Keying for seamless subject extraction and background compositing without a green screen and an AI Effect Filter for real-time, automated mosaic processing.
Visitors will meet the new AW-UE5, the successor to the compact AW-UE4 with ultra-wide angle capabilities, but now supporting 4K/60p (including 2160/60p, 2160/59.94p and 2160/50p) for a broader range of high-end streaming environments. With NDI® HX*6 support, the AW-UE5 enables highly flexible, IP-based video production workflows. It is also the first Panasonic PTZ camera to feature Group Framing, which automatically adjusts the view angle to keep all subjects in the frame, as well as Preset Framing, which makes automated framing changes when a person enters a designated area. The new AW-UE5 is ideal for error-free visuals, even in small-scale operations.
In this zone, Panasonic will present its comprehensive professional audio lineup, featuring the WX-AM800 Ceiling Array Microphone, the WR-AV800 AV Processor, and various handheld and gooseneck wireless microphones combining clear sound quality and operational convenience. Visitors will also see Panasonic ecosystem that integrates Panasonic's ceiling microphones and PTZ cameras into immersive meeting rooms with voice tracking that automatically keeps the camera angle focused on the active speaker.
