Panasonic Announces Image Adjust Pro Plug-in for Camera Image Control from PCs and Tablets

Osaka, Japan, January 27, 2026 – Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co., Ltd. has annouced Image Adjust Pro, a new plug-in for its Media Production Suite platform that enables users to adjust image settings of multiple studio and PTZ cameras with a PC or tablet.

In production environments such as TV studios and large event venues—where many types of cameras are deployed—teams often struggle with limited space for installing multiple remote operation panels (ROPs) and the complexity of managing different image-adjustment methods for each camera type. However, Image Adjust Pro, Panasonic’s new software-based ROP, is designed for compatibility with Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras¹. Only one license is needed for status monitoring and control of up to 20 cameras simultaneously from a PC or tablet, leveraging the plug-in’s flexibility and scalability as a software-based solution. When used with Panasonic camera systems and hardware ROPs, the plug-in enables remote operation and reduces the need for physical equipment, helping to streamline production workflows.

Image Adjust Pro’s support for controlling Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras¹ makes it ideal for large, complex multi-camera production environments. It offers two intuitive interfaces: a list view that displays the status of up to 20 cameras per license, and a panel view that emulates a hardware ROP to display and control multiple cameras. Image-adjustment capabilities are equal to those of the AK-HRP1010 hardware ROP, enabling flexible hybrid configurations. Frequently used main cameras can be controlled via a hardware ROP, while other units are operated with the plug-in, reducing the required number of physical ROPs without sacrificing precision in controlling images. Additionally, in IP-based systems the plug-in and hardware ROPs can operate in parallel to provide seamless, tailored control for each production site.

In addition to the PC where the plug-in is installed, the plug-in can be accessed from multiple devices on the same network, such as laptops and tablets, enabling decentralized operation regardless of ROP placement. This allows directors to centrally monitor and manage the status of all cameras, and lighting and other technical staff to adjust settings directly from their stations. The result is a flexible, collaborative workflow that eliminates physical limitations and optimizes operational efficiency.
Three distinct GUI options are available² for the control panel: a hardware-style layout that mirrors the AK-HRP1010’s button configuration; a graphical layout reminiscent of video editing software; and a customizable UI that displays only essential controls. These flexible options cater to both seasoned ROP operators and users with limited experience, supporting intuitive operation across a wide range of workflows.

With its software-driven flexibility and advanced image-adjustment features, the Image Adjust Pro plug-in streamlines system setup and operation in multi-camera environments to transform video-production workflows.

Media Production Suite is a software platform designed to enhance the quality and efficiency of video production using Panasonic cameras in diverse environments. It provides essential tools, including centralized device management and monitoring to simplify setup, control and operation in high-pressure production settings. Optional paid plug-ins are offered to expand capabilities, streamline workflows and enable smaller teams to achieve high-quality results.
