To achieve Panasonic’s ideal society offering of both material and spiritual affluence, Panasonic HD is launching Panasonic Go, a global corporate growth initiative to promote the transition to an AI-based business model, based on the concept of AI utilization that is human-centered and respectful of human rights. Here, Panasonic will introduce the concept and specific business examples of Panasonic Go, mainly through video clips.
Since its foundation in 1918, the Panasonic Group has created a wide range of home appliances to contribute to the enrichment of people's lives. The products on display include: The “two-light cluster” two-way socket, a product from the time of the company's founding; the “Super Iron” manufactured in 1927, which boasted a high sales record due to mass production; speakers manufactured in 1955, the first Panasonic brand product; and the “Blu-ray Disc Recorder,” which in 2004 became the world's first single-sided dual layer 50GB recorder.
The Panasonic Group is committed to its mission of realizing an ideal society offering material and spiritual affluence in accordance with the 250-year business plan established by its founder, Konosuke Matsushita in 1932.
Panasonic HD is promoting Panasonic Go. This initiative is based on the concept of the 250-year plan, in which 25 years (10 years during the construction period, 10 years during the activity period, and 5 years during the contribution to society period) is considered as one “section” among 10 sections, as well as the concept of establishing a highly competitive business model by expanding the use of AI while making the most of the knowledge, technologies, and hardware Panasonic has cultivated for many years. Panasonic HD is currently enacting the fourth stage of the 250-year business plan, and Panasonic Go is a key component for upcoming fifth stage.
Blue Yonder is building out its AI-driven multi-enterprise, multi-tier supply chain platform. The Blue Yonder Platform leverages AI to make more than 20 billion demand forecasts and recommendations every day. Predictive AI, generative AI, and supply chain AI agents (which proactively identify opportunities and risks, as well as make recommendations) enable retailers, manufacturers, and logistics service providers to optimize and accelerate their supply chain from planning through fulfillment, delivery, and returns.
In a video at the booth, Blue Yonder demonstrates how its solutions help businesses to navigate modern supply chain complexity with more resilient, sustainable supply chains to enhance the customer experience, scale profitably, and run flawlessly.
Panasonic Well, a new venture and business incubator within the Panasonic Group committed to building new services and technologies that improve well-being for all people, introduced the latest consumer offering from the Panasonic Well portfolio with a sneak peek of Umi, available in the U.S. in 2025. The innovative digital wellness platform and personalized family wellness coach that integrates AI and a community of experts, Umi helps people build healthy habits and connect through wellness routines that work for everyone.
The booth experience includes a detailed look at the family insights that led to the product, a deeper look into the product experience, and an interactive kiosk that allowed attendees to interact with the virtual coach through the power of AI.
The booth experience also provided a showcase of Panasonic Well's Partner Collective, bringing together leading brands across technology, and research to leverage the strength of the Panasonic Well data and AI platform. The Partner Collective, launched at CES, includes partners such as Aaptiv, Precision Nutrition, SleepScore Labs, Addition Wealth, BlueApron, Calm and more. These brands will be working with Umi and future Panasonic Well businesses to enrich the experience for end users, allowing families to access premium content and services and enabling them to care for themselves and each other while improving their family’s wellness outcomes.
The Panasonic Well booth also showcased the winners of The Family Wellness Innovation Challenge. In collaboration with AARP's Age Tech Collaborative, this inaugural competition seeks to identify the next breakthrough in health and wellness tech. Panasonic Well is proud to feature the following winners in their exhibition: Hearth Display (Grand Prize), Mindless Play, Support Pay, Your Coach, and Guava Health.
To achieve the Panasonic Group's goal of realizing an ideal society offering material and spiritual affluence, the most pressing issue is to solve global environmental problems. The Panasonic Group set forth its long-term environmental vision “Panasonic GREEN IMPACT,” in 2022 and is engaged in a variety of activities to expand its impact toward achieving carbon neutrality and a circular economy in order to balance a better life with a sustainable global environment. Here we introduce solutions and home appliances that contribute to a better life, and technologies that help solve global environmental issues.
Introducing the next generation of residential solutions for comfortable, healthy, economical, sustainable, and secure living, which are scheduled to be rolled out in the United States. For the first time in the U.S.*3, a residential central air conditioning system that air conditions and ventilates the entire house using a combination of existing products: Mini Split AC, Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV)*4, and transfer fans using DC motor ventilation fans is now available. The system can reduce energy consumption for heating and air conditioning over 50% compared to conventional systems in the U.S.,*5 and also provides a healthy and comfortable space with large volumes of air, small temperature differences, air purification technology, and whisper-quiet operation. In the future, a house powered by 100% renewable energy could be made viable by combining a high-efficiency water heater and home energy management based on lifestyle information. An overview of the project is shown in the video at the booth.
Solutions and technologies that contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions, expanding the impact of carbon neutrality from the home to the city and society as a whole, will be exhibited, including:
The Panasonic Group is committed to the Circular Economy (CE) under the three principles of “Maximize, Minimize, and Partner.” Here, the group introduces efforts to efficiently use resources and reduce consumption of the earth's limited natural resources, among other initiatives.
Home appliances that enrich people's lives will be exhibited.
Notes:
*1: The theme “WELL into the Future” has been updated to “Well into the future.”
*2: This system uses the MaHAt system developed by Future House Alliance (based in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture).
*3: Regarding the central air conditioning system using a residential air conditioner, energy recovery ventilator, and transfer fans. As of January 7, 2025, according to Panasonic's research.
*4: It is a device that provides ventilation with minimum heat loss, while exchanging heat recovered from supply and exhaust air.
*5: The conventional air conditioning systems use a heat pump cooling system (14.2 SEER2) and gas furnace (80% AFUE) for houses with performance compliant with IECC 2015.
OASYS uses Panasonic's Mini Split AC and transfer fans for both cooling and heating functions for houses with performance compliant with OASYS-required specifications. (Estimated by converting gas energy consumption to electricity)
