Hanoi, Vietnam - The need for more comfortable and safer residential spaces increases in tandem with rising living standards and nowhere is this more evident than in Vietnam, which has seen amazing economic growth in recent years.

Energy efficiency a priority

Energy consumption in Vietnam has increased sharply due to economic expansion and urbanisation, resulting in a chronic shortage of electricity. Under these circumstances, it is no surprise that concerns about energy usage in homes have been growing.

Well aware of such demand, Panasonic aims to provide eco-friendly solutions to help reduce power consumption and ensure a high level of safety, security and quality at the same time. The opening of Panasonic's Hanoi showroom is a perfect representation of what the company can help homeowners in Vietnam achieve.

A stylish showcase of sustainable solutions

Working hand in hand with its official distributor in Vietnam, Fortune Electric Corporation, Panasonic has been looking at various ways to create a new type of showroom for its lighting fixtures and other electrical equipment in Hanoi. The result is a brand new showroom that features a wide range of innovative solutions for living spaces in a modern and elegant yet extremely casual atmosphere.

The Hanoi showroom is Panasonic's second in Vietnam and it offers a service that had received favourable reviews when introduced in Ho Chi Minh City. Targeting consumers, interior designers, architects and developers, Panasonic's Lighting Plan service aims to provide technical support to these different groups about lighting options that are both comfortable and eco-friendly.

Drawing from the company's expertise of having created 200,000 lighting projects (in Japan alone), Panasonic's consultants are able to recommend lighting fixtures for newly constructed as well as renovated houses. Visitors are also able to touch and feel the LED lighting fixtures, wiring devices and ceiling fans at the showroom.

In addition, Panasonic has set up simulation rooms in which visitors are able to experience what lighting effects they can create in their homes by changing the type and position of lighting fixtures.

The showroom, located in the centre of Hanoi, is itself a head turner. The original building underwent a dramatic transformation and is now a highly trendy showroom with a façade entirely made of glass. If you ever happen to pass by at night, it will be hard to miss this dazzling sight, as the building sparkles with Panasonic's LED lighting fixtures. This unique lighting effect creates a luxurious yet warm ambience that beckons locals to drop in for a visit.

If you'd like to see a demonstration of Panasonic's advanced solutions for residential homes - such as lighting fixtures, wiring devices, ventilation fans, water pumps and more - we would be delighted to see you at our showroom.
