Hanoi, Vietnam - On 8 September 2015, Panasonic Vietnam celebrated five years anniversary of Panasonic Risupia Vietnam - the Hanoi based science center founded by Panasonic Corporation with the attendance of representatives from Ministry of Labor, War invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training and Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.
At Panasonic Risupia Vietnam, children can get hand-on science experience not only by playing interesting games but also by participating in different science and eco workshops every weekend. The Center is unique for the utilization and combination between Panasonic's advanced technologies and fundamental scientific principles which convey into a wonderful world of science. After five years operation, the Center has welcomed nearly 250,000 visitors including 100,000 students and became a frequent and familiar education address for schools, families and visitors.

In Vietnam, over the last few years, Panasonic has implemented various educational programs and donations to bring benefit to over 300,000 people. At the anniversary ceremony, Panasonic Vietnam and National Fund for Children has signed a new donation agreement for the year 2015 with total value of 600 million VND. Approximately 11,000 children in 44 schools and social facilities will benefit from this donation.
Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of Labors, War Invalids & Social Welfare said: "I believe Panasonic's donations of washing machines, refrigerators, televisions for kindergartens, hospitals, orphanages, centers for disabled children, social humanitarian organizations will improve the living condition for thousands of disadvantaged children."
In collaboration with National Fund for Children - Ministry of Labor, War invalid and Social Affairs, in 2014, Panasonic Vietnam donated 1000 washing machines to more than 400 schools, social institutes and clinics in the whole country. The new donation announced today will continue with this meaningful project and mark the new round of contribution for the young generation.
