From February 6 through 13, 2014, New York City was filled with much more style than usual with the arrival of New York Fashion Week. With a focus on new beauty products, Panasonic decided to build upon the opportunity by setting up the Panasonic Beauty Bar at New York Fashion Week, a unique style retreat that offered media, celebrities and fashion-insiders a beauty oasis during the hectic days of fashion shows and parties.
At the event, veteran stylists gave attendees "the best hair day of their life" with a little help from the new nanoe™ Blow Dryer and Flat Iron. Traditional media, bloggers and celebrities including Nina Garcia, Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire magazine and former judge on Project Runway, Estelle, Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, Kelly Bensimon, reality television star and author, and Bella Thorne, teen actress and singer , got their hair styled while others checked out the other beauty products from Panasonic ranging from the new Facial Ionic Steamer to the Compact Beauty Tools. In addition to the full line of beauty products, the Beauty Bar offered guests a hands-on look at some of our most stylish new cameras, the LUMIX GM1 and the TS5.
Panasonic also sponsored the fashion show of capturing all the action backstage and on the runway with the new LUMIX GH4 camera and styling models with the Panasonic Beauty hair tools.
During and after the event, guests took to their social media channels to continue the conversation about the Panasonic Beauty Bar on the web, which helped PCEC launch the new @BeautyPanasonic twitter handle and gain even more attention from men and women in the beauty and fashion communities.
