Tokyo, Japan, April 1, 2026 – Panasonic Corporation (Panasonic) today announced that, in accordance with the transition of the Panasonic Group into a new group structure, it has transitioned into a new corporate framework dedicated to lifestyle solutions centered around consumer electronics, related devices, and business solutions.
The principal businesses of the Living Appliances and Solutions Company and the China and Northeast Asia Company of the former Panasonic Corporation were transferred through an absorption-type split company to Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co., Ltd., which was renamed Panasonic Corporation and started business operations under a new management framework. The primary business areas include the development, manufacture, and sale of products and services in the Major Appliances Business (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines), Small Appliances Business (e.g., beauty, health, household, and cooking appliances), and AVC Business (e.g., digital cameras, TVs, headphones, video intercoms, professional AV and sound systems), as well as related devices, business solutions, and bicycles.
Guided by its new mission, “Transform the ordinary into the unforgettable—making everyday irreplaceable,” Panasonic will provide products and services that create new value in people’s daily lives and help each individual enjoy a better, more fulfilling way of living.
