Panasonic Makes Additional Investment in Neautech, an Online Diagnostic Platform Provider, through the Panasonic Kurashi Visionary Fund, Further Strengthening Their Partnership

Tokyo, Japan, October 17, 2025 – Panasonic Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masahiro Shinada; hereinafter referred to as Panasonic) today announced that it has made an additional investment in Neautech Inc. (Head office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akihiro Mizumoto; hereinafter referred to as Neautech), the provider of ANS., an online skin treatment service, through a corporate venture capital fund commonly known as the Panasonic Kurashi Visionary Fund, jointly managed by Panasonic and SBI Investment Co., Ltd. This investment follows a follow-on investment made in February 2024, with Panasonic acting as the lead investor and playing a central role in the financing round. With this additional investment, Panasonic and Neautech will further strengthen their partnership through talent exchange and the exploration of new solutions.

Neautech launched ANS., an online skin treatment service based on the concept of "sustainable, door-to-door cosmetic medicine" in 2022. ANS. provides an online diagnostic platform that enables users to receive medical consultations from doctors via smartphones and other devices. The service delivers prescription drugs and basic skincare products to users' homes based on their skin problems, such as acne, spots, dullness, chloasma, and pores, or the skin conditions they wish to achieve. The company offers not only pharmaceutical products, but also skincare advice and education from counselors, using digital technology to enhance user support and achieve higher user retention rates (recurring business model) and drive business expansion.

Panasonic has addressed the beauty and health concerns of many people by developing consumer electronics in this area. Since Panasonic first invested in Neautech, the two companies have built a collaborative relationship, leveraging their respective strengths. Together, they have worked to create new customer experiences and value through AI and data analytics, aiming to achieve more efficient and less labor-intensive "human-touch companion-type care." For example, "AI Skin-chan," an AI assistant for skincare, was developed through the collaboration of the two companies. Within Neautech's service ANS., it always stays close to users, supporting them in their skincare routines. Through this additional investment, Panasonic will accelerate its collaboration with Neautech in non-medical domains to enhance companion-type solutions that improve the experiential value of beauty and health appliances while also strengthening recurring business models.

Panasonic will continue to strengthen its open innovation initiatives based on strong partnerships formed through investments in promising startups in Japan and overseas that are competitive in areas closely related to people's lives, such as energy, food infrastructure, spatial infrastructure, and lifestyle.

■Comments from Kunio Gohara, General Manager of the Corporate Venture Capital Office, Panasonic Corporation

Since our initial investment, we have engaged in various joint verification activities with Neautech. Through these efforts, we have once again been impressed by the company's outstanding customer-centric culture, the strong leadership of CEO Mizumoto and the management team, and the way the entire organization works sincerely to address customers' concerns and build trust. Furthermore, to promote the two companies' contributions to the beauty and healthcare fields, Panasonic has decided to make an additional investment. This marks the first time the Panasonic Kurashi Visionary Fund has served as a lead investor since its establishment. We will leverage this partnership to accelerate both companies' sustainable growth and contribution to society.

■Comments from Akihiro Mizumoto, Representative Director of Neautech Inc.

Since the initial investment, we have engaged in various verification activities with Panasonic Corporation, which has extensive experience in addressing customer challenges in the beauty and healthcare fields. We also appreciate Panasonic's collaboration in further developing our unique "companion-type care" service through AI technologies. We are pleased that the company recognized our growth and decided to make an additional investment in this financing round. Following this round, we aim to further strengthen our collaboration and expand the reach of our "easy-to-start, easy-to-continue" care system to treatment areas beyond skincare.
