Las Vegas, U.S. - Panasonic, a leader in delivering visual experiences, announced the launch of a wide range of visual systems technologies at InfoComm2016. The Panasonic booth showcased the latest professional visual systems and professional video technologies through engaging demonstrations, including a new flagship 4K+ SOLID SHINE Laser 3-Chip DLP(TM) projector, high-impact projection mapping solutions, an ultra-narrow video-wall display featuring virtually invisible bezels, along with other new professional display and professional video products. These technologies are part of the company's Visual & Imaging solutions for virtually any industry, including retail, education, rental and staging, restaurants, corporate offices, government organizations, entertainment, broadcast and more.

"The business world is changing drastically and in this digital world we need to ensure that all of our customers have the tools and solutions they need to grow their businesses," said John Baisley, Senior Vice President, Visual & Imaging, Panasonic System Communications Company of North America. "Making our customers shine is our top priority and we always look to offer the most cutting edge technology to make that happen."

Product highlights at InfoComm 2016 included:

PT-RQ32KU 3-Chip DLP(TM) SOLID SHINE 4K+ Laser Projector

Engineered for unfailing reliability, this 3-Chip DLP(TM) SOLID SHINE laser projector provides 27,000 lumens (center) of brightness, film-like 4K+ resolution with Quad Pixel Drive and 240 Hz-capable Real Motion Processor. Dust-resistant construction, i-bolt rigging, and frameless stacking along with free 360-degree installation and DIGITAL LINK for single-cable connectivity makes this state-of-the-art projector a versatile large-venue projection solution.

PT-RZ970 Series 1-Chip DLP(TM) SOLID SHINE Laser Projectors

This projector series comprises three 1-Chip DLP(TM) SOLID SHINE laser projectors that deliver a maximum of 10,400 lm (center). The PT-RZ970 Series laser projectors incorporate cutting-edge technology to achieve vibrant picture quality and a high 10,000:1 contrast ratio. These filter-less projectors are essentially dust-proof, and are subjected to punishing tests to ensure flawless performance in offices, schools, control rooms, lecture halls, museums and more. The PT-RZ970 Series is engineered for virtually maintenance-free long-haul operation, shares optional lenses with Panasonic's 1-Chip DLP(TM) projector family and includes the PT-RZ970 (WUXGA), PT-RW930 (WXGA) and PT-RX110 (XGA), all available in black or white cabinets in June 2016.

PT-JX200 Space Player DLP(TM) Laser Projectors

Also exhibited is the new 2,000 lumen 1-Chip DLP(TM) Space Player laser projector. This revolutionary DLP projector combines the functions of traditional lighting and video projection to create engaging, projected visuals able to support a wide variety of applications, by highlighting objects with light and moving media. Easy installation, adjustable projection angle and exceptionally long life, make the Space Player a great solution to support specialty projection for retail signage, museums, restaurants and more.

PT-RQ13KU 3-Chip DLP(TM) Laser Projector with 4K+ Resolution

With 4K+ resolution and Quad Pixel Drive technology, this is the most compact, lightweight 4K+ projector in its class. It boasts an impressive 10,000 lm of brightness and a contrast ratio of 20,000:1, for image quality that goes beyond 4K. Pixels are shifted horizontally and vertically at 240 Hz, to create four pixels from one, effectively quadrupling the pixel density.

PT-RZ570 Series 1-Chip DLP(TM) SOLID SHINE Laser Projectors

This series offers 5,400 lumens (center)/5,200 lumens of brightness, and up to 20,000 hours* of maintenance-free operation. A filter-free design and practical features make it highly versatile. The latest DLP(TM) module for WUXGA resolution and solid-state laser diodes drive a Quartet Color Harmonizer color wheel that reduces light source energy loss, boosting brightness and color accuracy. Picture quality exceeds lamp-based projectors to make text and graphics clear and comfortable. DIGITAL LINK connectivity based on HDBaseT(TM) technology also supports long-distance transmission of HDMI signals and more through a single LAN cable.
*At 20,000 hours, projector brightness will have decreased to approximately half of its original level. Light source lifetime may be reduced depending on environmental conditions. Replacement of parts other than the light source may be required in a shorter period.

PT-FZ570 Series LCD Projectors

This new series offers exceptional durability, low maintenance, and outstanding picture quality. The projectors are engineered for ultimate endurance with lamp replacement extended to 8,000 hours (ECO Mode) and reusable Super Eco Filter replacement to 16,000 hours. Lamp and filter replacement takes just moments. The dust-resistant cabinet features a one-way airflow to limit dust buildup. These bright projectors are offered in three variants: the newly added PT-FZ570U (4,500 lm) with WUXGA resolution, the PT-FW530U (WXGA/4,500 lm) and the PT-FX500U (XGA/5,000 lm). All models in the Series feature a 10,000:1 contrast ratio.

PT-EZ590 Series LCD Projectors

This compact series includes five different models that deliver up to 5,400 lm of brightness in WUXGA resolution and double the contrast versus predecessor models from 5,000:1 to 10,000:1. Daylight View Basic technology produces sharp, easy-to-view images. Lamp and filter replacement takes just moments, while the Eco Filter lasts up to 15,000 hours and can be washed and reused twice before replacing. The lamp replacement cycle is up to 5,000 hours in ECO mode. The series features powered horizontal/vertical lens shift and a 1.8x zoom lens. Four optional power zoom/focus lenses assure convenience and versatility, and allow adjustments via remote control.
