Panasonic Announced Its R&D Concept and Launched the "R&D 10-Year Vision" Website

Osaka, Japan - On April 8, 2016, Panasonic Corporation launched its "R&D 10-Year Vision" website, which introduces its R&D vision and initiatives. In order to realize "A Better Life, A Better World," Panasonic has defined key areas for R&D as "IoT/Robotics" and "Energy," will use its strengths in technology while pursuing further technological innovation, and detail the direction in which its R&D efforts will head.

In the field of "IoT/Robotics," Panasonic will focus on artificial intelligence (AI), sensing, and UI/UX*. And with respect to "Energy," Panasonic will focus on storage and hydrogen energy.
