Panasonic Presents "A Better Life, A Better World" at IGEM 2013 in Malaysia

In line with the new global brand promise, "A Better Life, A Better World", Panasonic showcased its latest innovative and comprehensive Green Technology and Solutions at the 4th International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM 2013) from 10 - 13 October 2013 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

The slogan "A Better Life, A Better World" expresses Panasonic's vision of expanding and pursuing a better life for each individual customer, in various spaces and fields, and realizing a better world globally through its contribution to the environment and other activities, in both B2B and B2G segments.

Mr Yosuke Matsunaga, Managing Director, Panasonic Malaysia and Mr Cheng Chee Chung, Deputy Director, Panasonic Malaysia, officiated the opening of the Panasonic showcase at IGEM 2013. Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Malaysian Prime Minister together with other government officials also visited the booth to lend their support.

This year also marks the second year of Panasonic Malaysia's partnership with Project WATTS (Where Aid Turns to Sustainability). Playing its role as a Good Corporate Citizen, the company participated again as a Loving Company (TLC), offering energy efficient appliances to selected charity homes, at a discounted price, as well as fulfilling the wish list for energy solutions for five Charity Homes. The five charity homes that will benefit from Panasonic's contribution are Pengasih Malaysia, Pusat Kebajikan Good Shepherd, Rumah Ozanam, Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation and The National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia.

As a global manufacturer, Panasonic will continue to be an active contributing member of the society, both through its innovative technology as well CSR initiatives thereby creating a better life, a better world for everyone, everywhere.
