Panasonic generated significant interest by demonstrating its full range of security products and solutions at Intersec 2013, the largest security exhibition in the region, which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 15-17 January 2013.
Intersec trade fair is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition for security and safety in the Middle East. Intersec 2013 showcased the latest technologies and apparatus in Commercial Security & Information Security, Homeland Security & Policing, Fire & Rescue and Safety & Health.
Visitors to the stand witnessed a demonstration of key products and were offered a technical preview of the various systems displayed. The products that garnered a huge interest included Panasonic's new and expanded line-up of network, analog, industrial and home network products.
A model IP control room was set up using 6 sets of the 55" ultra-narrow bezel LED panels. This setup showcased the capability of the newly improved management software to display up to 64 cameras on the same monitor.
Panasonic showcased its complete line-up of CCTV cameras, including the latest additions such as the 360° Full HD view and a new line of a specialist cameras with built-in intelligent features and video analytics such as counting, congestion analytics, and fog compensation.
Also on display were WV-TW310 series of Wearable Camera which received good interest from law enforcement agencies and security professionals. The arbitrator 360 solution for police cars was also on display along with the driving recorder for consumer vehicles.
A new addition to Panasonic security offerings in the Middle East is the photoelectric smoke detector 4352 along with the fire alarm management system. This solution also generated interest from the stand visitors.
