Panasonic HD to host annual worldwide educational event: KWN Global Summit 2025

Osaka, Japan, September 12, 2025 – Panasonic Holdings Corporation Co., Ltd. (Panasonic HD), will host the international event KWN Global Summit 2025 online on Saturday, October 25, 2025, as part of its educational support program, Kid Witness News (KWN).

KWN is an educational initiative aimed at nurturing children’s creativity and communication skills through video production. By creating videos that reflect their perspectives on social issues and everyday life, children around the world develop their ability to express themselves and collaborate with others.

This year’s Global Summit will welcome participants from 11 countries, providing a platform for children to connect across borders and celebrate each other’s work. Representatives from each country will take part, promoting international exchange and mutual recognition of their creative achievements.

Four awards will be presented during the summit to recognize outstanding video projects:

• KWN Kids Award—Selected by the children participating in the summit
• Panasonic Award—Selected by Panasonic Group employees
• KWN Fans Award—Selected by public voting from around the world
• Professional Award—Selected by video production professionals

The voting results will be announced during the KWN Global Summit 2025 on Saturday, October 25, 2025, which will be livestreamed.

Participants from each country will gather at local venues and connect with the main venue in Makuhari, Chiba, through live streaming. The event, including the award announcements, will be broadcast live and is open to all viewers.
