Panasonic Projection Mapping & Light Up Performance Along Tennoz Isle Canal

Tokyo, Japan - Panasonic Corporation and Panasonic Visuals Co., Ltd. conducted a demonstration experiment of a projection mapping & light up performance on the Tennoz Isle canal in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, on April 7 to 8, 2017.

This demonstration was organized as part of the Tennoz Isle Canal Festival 2017, the Spring "Happy Waterfront Festival" held from April 7 to 9, 2017 by the General Incorporated Association Tennoz Canal Side Revitalization Association. Three 30,000lm super high-brightness laser projectors (PT-RZ31KJ) and 12 high-power LED color dynamic lights (Dynapainter 2 and Dynapainter 6) projected beautiful images and lighting onto the buildings and bridges along the canal and helped energize the event

This demonstration experiment was made possible by the cooperation of partners such as Warehouse TERRADA with headquarters in the area as well as TV TOKYO Corporation and ART CORPORATION. In order to expand its B2B business, Panasonic is actively working together with a wide range of partners encouraging the development of town and city areas and promoting the strategic use of corporate real estate. Panasonic will continue to develop new business models while proposing innovative ideas for landscape lighting, signage, and so on, as part of the Tokyo Prefecture's Water Transportation Project. This Water Transportation Project is a project endorsed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to increase the appeal of the waterfront environment in the Tokyo Bay Area and the Sumida River while promoting tourism.

Overview of the projection mapping light up demonstration experiment

Panasonic utilizes its corporate real estate and works with B2B partners to promote smart town development projects such as Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town and Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town. Panasonic makes full use of this know-how to propose town development solutions.
