[Video] Panasonic HX in Action: Demonstrating Hydrogen Solutions in Europe

In March 2025, Panasonic Corporation began a field demonstration of its hydrogen-powered energy solution, Panasonic HX, at Panasonic Campus Munich, Germany. The aim is to create a model case for urban decarbonization solutions by integrating hydrogen technologies at an actual commercial location.

The demonstration features five units of the company’s latest pure hydrogen fuel cell generator, the PH3, operating in combination with existing photovoltaic generation. All systems are coordinated and controlled through an energy management system (EMS), with the goal of running the site’s Customer Experience Center entirely on renewable energy.

Panasonic HX is a key technology for realizing the Panasonic Group’s long-term environmental vision, Panasonic GREEN IMPACT. This video introduces the ongoing demonstration and how the solution is being implemented on site.
