Assistance for People in Southern Taiwan Suffering from the Recent Earthquake
Tainan, Taiwan - The Panasonic group has donated a total of TWD 5.5 million (approximately 19.3 million yen) provided by the local affiliate companies and individual donors to the local Tainan City government so that these funds may be used to help victims of the recent earthquake that occurred on February 6, 2016, and for the reconstruction of the region.
Government authorities are still responding to soil liquefaction and consequent ground subsidence that has occurred in many areas of Tainan. We would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims of the earthquake along with our sincere hopes for the earliest recovery.
