Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - On 7 July 2015, Panasonic Malaysia introduced the Panasonic Cooking Studio, equipped with the company's full range of kitchen appliances to enhance customers' food preparation and cooking process.

Located at Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, the Cooking Studio which is open to members of the public serves as an avenue for them to experience Panasonic Cooking appliances through hands-on cooking demonstrations and classes conducted by invited chefs.

Cooking sessions incorporate various themes beginning with Raya Delights in July, followed by Round-the-World desserts in August, and finally Healthy & Easy cuisine in September. Customers can also bring along a family member to class.

On top of that, the Panasonic Cooking Studio will assist to develop local recipes such as Milo Bread using Bread Maker.

At the launch, Dato' Chef Fazley Yaakob, Panasonic Cooking Ambassador and 2012 Celebrity Masterchef Malaysia winner, shared his experience in preparing healthy food such as Keema Naan (lamb naan with sweet tomato mint sauce) using Panasonic Induction Heating (IH) Rice Cooker, Slow Juicer and Microwave Oven. The dish was complemented with raspberry ice cream which was made using the Slow Juicer and Glass Jug Blender.

The celebrity chef also presented useful tips on how to prepare delicious local dishes using Panasonic Cooking appliances. For example, blending dry ice into powder and mixing with sorbet to create the raspberry ice cream, as well as setting the power voltage of IH Rice Cooker at 1400W to make naan.

Details on the three new Panasonic Cooking appliances:

(1) Panasonic Induction Heating (IH) Rice Cooker (SR-HB184)
. The IH Rice Cooker boasts a 5-layer IH for high and stronger heat cooking performance of 1400W which produces even heating. With this technology, the rice is being cooked at a precise temperature.

(2) Slow Juicer (MJ-L500)
. This Slow Juicer is able to produce high nutrient juice with its low speed grinding system; the screw rotates slowly at 45rpm to squeeze ingredients thus nutrients are not destroyed by friction heat. This is a highly efficient way to obtain nutrients.

(3) Glass Jug Blender (MX-GX1581)
. The maximum locked wattage of 450W is a powerful blending machine which has dual speed and pulse options. The built-in Ice Crushing Titanium Blade, enables high powered performance.

Panasonic hopes the Cooking Studio will provide a casual and friendly environment for customers to learn how to use its kitchen appliances to whip up quick, delicious and healthy dishes.
