The SEA Games returned to Myanmar after 44 years since it first hosted in 1969. Under this year's concept of Green, Clean and Friendship, Panasonic took on as the first Official Main Sponsor to tie in a closer relationship with Myanmar.
The initial reach made by Panasonic was a partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan to support the manufacture and provision of the official uniforms, and designed by Ms Junko Koshino (one of Japan's most acclaimed fashion designers), for the Myanmar national team.
