Panasonic Gran-Forum 2015 Demonstrates Consumer Products and Business Solutions for Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - Panasonic Gran-Forum 2015 opened at the GEM Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City from 15-16 April 2015. This is the first large scale convention to demonstrate the company's full array of innovative business-to-consumer (B2C) products and integrated business-to-business (B2B) solutions designed to meet the needs of households and businesses in local market.

The Panasonic Gran- Forum 2015 was divided into three key areas- Panasonic Demo Corner, Panasonic's Daily Solutions Corner and Panasonic Global Achievement: aimed at bringing "A better Life, A Better World" in a variety of spaces - homes, offices, retail, business, travel for consumers and business partners. The event attracted over 300 dealers and members of the press

Exhibition Overview

  1. Panasonic Global Achievement showcased successful regional and global projects which serve as relevant case studies that could be replicated in the Vietnam market.

    Highlights included the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town and Made in Japan/Japan quality products. Visitors expressed keen interest in understanding Panasonic's sustainable solutions that can support the growth of Vietnam's infrastructure as the country continues to develop.
  2. Panasonic Daily Solutions Corner was designed to highlight how Panasonic products and solutions can meet diverse needs, from homes to offices as well as convenience stores to restaurants, 24 hours a day.

    Convenience store solutions demonstrate solutions for convenience stores which are becoming popular in Vietnam. Solutions included lighting, energy, cold-chain, POS, surveillance camera, air conditioning and purifier.

    Home solutions exhibited solutions for modern family life, including harmonized lighting system, food storage solution, air-conditioning and home entertainment system which aim to meet higher demand of urban residents who will account for 50% population of Vietnam by the year 2020 (UN statistic).
  3. Panasonic Demo Corner enabled visitors to experience first-hand all B2C products and B2B solutions first hand to improve standard of living and quality of life, through 10 booths: 4K and Viera television, washing machine, battery, cooking, refrigerator, air conditioner, 4K digital image solution, housing solutions, system solutions, and eco solutions.

    System solutions like CCTV camera and Traffic Control System further cemented Panasonic's B2B capabilities in Vietnam.

Plans for Vietnam

Mr. Eiji Fukumori, General Director of Panasonic Vietnam, commented that in the next five years, Panasonic Vietnam plans to improve the company's position in Asia Pacific to become a regional center which houses research and development, marketing, sales, and after sales service supporting both B2C and B2B markets.
