DJSI is a stock index created by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the US and Sustainable Asset Management AG in Switzerland, which evaluate the sustainability of companies in terms of the economy, environment, and society. Each year, about 2,500 of the world's largest company are evaluated, and only about the top 10% of these companies are named to DJSI World. This year, there were 340 companies named to the index.

We are striving to become the No. 1 Green Innovation Company in the Electronics Industry as the vision for our 100th anniversary in 2018, and Panasonic has been lauded for its environmental management, managing harmful materials, and other environmental initiatives in the Leisure Goods Business Sector, which covers consumer products like electronics and cameras. As the world becomes more sensitive to equal opportunity employment, occupational safety, and other human rights issues in business, Panasonic has been recognized for its initiatives in respecting human rights, which has become a new evaluation point this fiscal year.

Panasonic continues to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society through an open dialog with society based on its founding management philosophy of the company as a "public entity of society."
