Explore Panasonic Founder Konosuke Matsushita's Global Perspective

The Konosuke Matsushita Museum (Osaka, Japan) is currently hosting a special exhibition entitled "Konosuke Matsushita's Global Perspective-Quest for Prosperity-". and will be available to the public until July 15, 2011.

Konosuke Matsushita, the founder of Panasonic Corporation, had always had a long vision and not long after the founding of Panasonic, he had already turned his gaze toward the bustling economy of the world outside of Japan. He learned about the mass production method by reading Henry Ford's life story, looked up to Edison as his mentor and worked tirelessly to invent and create electrical products throughout his lifetime. This April, a new structure was launched as Panasonic Electric Works and SANYO Electric became wholly -owned subsidiaries of the Panasonic Group.
