Panasonic Group recently held a groundbreaking ceremony at the Yumeshima site in Osaka where the Panasonic Group Pavilion “NOMO NO KUNI” will be built for EXPO 2025. Environmental initiative Panasonic GREEN IMPACT seeks to contribute to resolving global environmental challenges, so Panasonic chose paving blocks made from recycled glass for the entry to the pavilion. Glass from approximately 4,600 drum-type washers/dryers has been recycled as pavers for the 749-square-meter space.
