Konosuke Matsushita founded Matsushita Electric Housewares Manufacturing Works, the company that would become Panasonic Corporation, with a team of three in a modest two-story house in 1918. Delivering high-quality products at a competitive price, by the end of that year, Matsushita’s workforce will grow to 20 people.
More than a century later, Panasonic Group has grown and evolved into an international group with a global workforce numbering 233,391 people as of March 2023, of which 63% are outside Japan.
