Panasonic Delivers a Wide Range of Solutions and Equipment for Staging the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018

PyeongChang, Korea - The Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 have begun. Every day of the Games shows the top athletes of the world engaged in fierce competition. Panasonic technology has its own part to play in the running of the Olympic Games. Following its achievements in the Olympic Games Rio 2016, Panasonic has installed various types of AV equipment in the Olympic Stadium to support operations there, including high-brightness laser-generated 30,000-lumen class projectors. Panasonic provides full support to the staging of the opening and closing ceremonies through its latest AV equipment and solutions centered on projection mapping technologies.

Introducing a new tool for viewing sports at the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020

Panasonic intends to start trialing a new tool for viewing sports. The tool is a multi-video distribution system allowing viewers to see multiple angles, to be used for the figure skating. The system will be used to display video on the subscreens of the LED video screens and video systems in the competition venues and be easily operated via personal devices.
