At the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, Panasonic once again provides its full lineup of AV equipment, including staging and system operations solutions, for the opening and closing ceremonies, competition venues, and the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) through cooperation with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games (POCOG), and Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS). Contributing to the staging of the opening and closing ceremonies
Following its achievements in the Olympic Games Rio 2016, Panasonic has installed various types of AV equipment in the Olympic Stadium to support operations there, including high-brightness laser-generated 30,000-lumen class projectors. Panasonic provides full support to the staging of the opening and closing ceremonies through its latest AV equipment and solutions centered on projection mapping technologies.
Introducing a new tool for viewing sports at the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020
Panasonic intends to start trialing a new tool for viewing sports. The tool is a multi-video distribution system allowing viewers to see multiple angles, to be used for the figure skating. The system will be used to display video on the subscreens of the LED video screens and video systems in the competition venues and be easily operated via personal devices.
