Panasonic Museum Will Open to the Public on March to Relay the Thoughts of Konosuke Matsushita to Future Generations

Osaka, Japan - To show its appreciation to the community and society in general, Panasonic Corporation will open the door to the Panasonic Museum in Oaza Kadoma, Kadoma-shi on March 7, 2018 as part of the celebration of the company's 100th anniversary since its founding on March 7, 1918. Following the opening ceremony, the museum will open to the public on March 9.

The Panasonic Museum consists of the "Konosuke Matsushita Museum," where visitors can learn about the business view and philosophy of the Panasonic founder; the "Hall of Manufacturing Ingenuity," where the DNA of Panasonic's unique approach to production is on exhibit; and "SAKURA HIROBA (Sakura Garden)," which opened in 2006. All of these facilities will be freely opened for the general public to explore.

Also, these facilities will support activities and events like school field trips where the children of the next generation can learn about Konosuke Matsushita's way of life and thinking, and experience the joy of manufacturing. Various workshops will also be available for the general public.

Information on the opening and details of upcoming events will be posted on the Panasonic Museum website, launched on January 15, 2018. Reservations to join in the events can also be done on this website starting on February 1, 2018.

Continuing the aspirations of Konosuke Matsushita of creating an improved lifestyle and driving social progress, the Panasonic Museum aims to contribute in building a "A Better Life, A Better World", by following the inherited passion, management principle and business outlook from the company founder.
