Panasonic has always made a statement to meeting high standards and it has proved again in its operations in Middle East and Africa with the certification of both the strict environmental standards given by the ISO 14001:2004 and also the information security standard defined under the ISO 27001.

This year, Panasonic's Environmental Management System in the regional sales and headquarters for Middle East and Africa has been measured against a best practice standard as developed by the ISO certification body, The Bureau of Assessment Services (BAS), and found compliant. The awards accreditation of the ISO 14001:2004 certification proves that Panasonic Middle East and Africa is able to meet the strict standards as set by BAS.

This certification is in line with the company's group-wide global commitment of driving eco-innovation and becoming the No.1 Green Innovation Company by 2018, its 100th year anniversary. Panasonic's drive for sustainability is also keeping with the company's eco ideas Declaration' for the Middle East and Africa region which it announced in 2010.

Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa has been conferred upon with the world's highest accreditation for Information Security and Management System - ISO 27001. The certification was held at an official presentation ceremony at Panasonic's regional headquarters located in Jebel Ali Free Zone. This certification is one of the most widely recognized and internationally accepted, independent security standard and Panasonic Middle East and Africa is among one of the few companies in UAE to be certified.
The certification was awarded by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), one of the world's leading bodies for Management Systems Certification in accordance with The United Kingdom Accreditation Service. LRQA provides certification of compliance with international management system standards, and helps clients use management systems to reduce risks and improve operations. Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa is committed to provide secure and reliable information management system to ensure safety and confidentiality of its business and customer data.
