Feb 01, 2016

Panasonic Chile Ltda. (PCL) has delivered AV solutions utilizing 70 projectors and displays to the Museo Interactivo Audiovisual (MUI) in Santiago, the capital of the Republic of Chile.

What makes this museum attractive is that it uses the latest technology to make it interactive. The most advanced audiovisual technology, integrating Panasonic's projectors, displays, software, knowhow and more, is utilized to make the lives of people in ancient Rome (the theme of the displays) come alive, with each room of the MUI acting as a stage for these realistic and easily graspable exhibits. Through video experiences full of never before seen interactive features, visitors can learn about the history of ancient Rome in an exciting way. The MUI is a museum for both adults and children, aiming to continue to provide more and more people with a sense of wonder through its changing themes in the future.

About the Museo Interactivo Audiovisual (MUI)

The MUI is the first visual art museum in Chile making full-scale use of video, where visitors can move through the various exhibit spaces and experience the latest visual technology. The city council of Las Condes purchased an old municipality build from 1943 to 1945, and began renovating it to create the museum from 2012. It opened in November 2015.
