Brazilians are becoming more and more engaged with Panasonic's Ideas for Life concept. The official fanpage of Panasonic in Brazil (http://www.facebook.com/panasonic.br) just reached 200.000 fans this June. To celebrate the number, the timeline image was redesigned using images of the fans, saying "thank you" to all of them.
The Facebook page for Brazil was set up in October 2011 and had since seen a rapid growth. To reaffirm the commitment of Panasonic with green innovation, a tree was planted for each 5 new users who joined "Panasonic Brasil" in Facebook. In less than one month, the page earned 20.000 fans, showing how Brazilian fans eager participation in Panasonic's eco commitment.
Social CRM is one of the key strategies chosen by Panasonic Brazil (Panabras) to drive company's growth at the country. The content is based on a sincere relationship with consumers. All the new information about the company and the products are disclosed firsthand in Facebook. The page is also used as one more touchpoint for Customer Services information, and every question or customer service request is answered in less than 24 hours.
Facebook is also used by Panabras as an important and rich marketing survey tool, to learn the opinion of the customers around the media campaigns and to support the product development team.
