Over 450 Photo Documentary of "Panasonic ECO RELAY"

Panasonic releases photo reports of "Panasonic ECO RELAY" activities that its worldwide employees consider eco actions suited for their respective regions and promote on Picasa Web albums and Panasonic News Portal Facebook page.

An employee proposal that Panasonic members should connect one another through eco actions created "Panasonic ECO RELAY" activities. Since 1998, Panasonic has promoted the activities aimed at encouraging its employees and their families to raise environmental awareness through their positive environmental actions in home and local communities, and improving their lifestyles.

Panasonic introduces its eco activities on a regional basis as "Panasonic ECO RELAY" reports implemented worldwide since April, 2011, on Picasa Web albums.

These reports include environmental activities done by our 210 business units in 30 countries across the world, and around 450 photo reports such as nature observation and rice planting for biodiversity conservation at Minobu-cho, Yamanashi-ken or planting 6100 trees by 300 employees from two offices in Zhuhai, China have already been posted on our website. Also further reports are to be uploaded soon. So, please have a look them.

What is "Panasonic ECO RELAY"?

An employee proposal that Panasonic members should connect one another through eco actions created "Panasonic ECO RELAY" activities. Since 1998, Panasonic has promoted, mainly in Japan, the activities aimed at encouraging its employees and their families to raise environmental awareness through their positive environmental actions in home and local communities, and improving their lifestyles.

As "Panasonic ECO RELAY", this movement has encouraged local employees to plan and do environmental activities based on their regionality since 2008, and then it has globally broadened. Moreover, it changed its name to "Panasonic ECO RELAY for Sustainable Earth" in 2010 with our wish of connecting people, regions and activities on global basis and passing our effort to the next generation, and now it lasts.

We hope that our approach as "One Panasonic" will contribute to realization of sustainable global environment and society.
