Panasonic to Make Additional Donation to Aid Earthquake Victims in Chile

Osaka, Japan - Panasonic, a world leading consumer electronics company, announced today the company will donate an additional 7 million yen worth of relief supplies such as batteries and flashlights to the local charity TV program, Teleton, to aid victims and support the recovery of areas affected by the strong earthquake that struck Chile on February 27th.

The company had already announced on March 3rd, a donation of 5 million yen of relief efforts to Teleton, bringing the total to 12 million yen worth of relief efforts and supplies.

Panasonic and its employees express deep condolences for victims of the earthquake and sincerely hope for swift recovery of the people and areas in Chile affected by the disaster.
