Panasonic Exhibits 4K Professional LED Display at ISE 2014

Panasonic expands its professional display and projector lineups with the launch of as many as 30 new models.

Osaka, Japan – Panasonic Corporation is among the companies exhibiting at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014, a professional audiovisual and system integration show being held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands between February 4 and 6, 2014. Among the Panasonic products on display are an 84-inch professional 4K LED Display set for global market launch this autumn, as well as main new models from 10 of its professional display and projector product series.

In recent years, the professional image display market has expanded into a wider range of fields – including corporate, in-store, education, transport, healthcare, art, and entertainment – and the needs for a display have diversified as a result. Amidst this trend, there has been particular interest in interactive display solutions using smartphones and tablets, as well as large-scale projection mapping for more diverse display possibilities. These changing interests have led to demand for a wider array of functions and services, in addition to the conventional need for highly detailed large screen performance.

Panasonic's new products are designed to meet such diverse needs with improved system scalability and reliability, in addition to technologies to enable high picture quality and advanced operability the company has developed over many years. Panasonic will launch 30 new models across a total of 10 new product series – 10 models in five new products series for professional displays, and 20 models in five new products series for projector s. The company is also developing professional 4K displays and projectors, with 98-inch and 84-inch 4K displays now set for global launch this autumn.

At ISE, Panasonic is introducing examples of different applications from professional display, public display, and collaboration display markets. The company has also set up an 'Innovation Corner' where it is exhibiting an 84-inch professional 4K LED display as well as the industry's first 6,000 lumen laser single-chip DLP™ projector. Through a combination of advanced technologies plus diverse devices and solutions across the wide product lineup, Panasonic is presenting more effective, more efficient display solutions than ever before.
