Accessibility improvement efforts toward 2020
Through the use of ICT devices and robotic technologies, Panasonic is working to realize a society where all individuals, including foreign nationals and the physically challenged, can move from one place to another safely without getting lost. These efforts include information service tailored to specific needs by combining Light ID signs and barrier-free navigation systems, which was launched at the Haneda Airport International Passenger Terminal in FY2015.

This product requires less space and fewer installation steps and encourages users, who have previously given up installing an elevator due to factors such as building conditions and costs. This elevator also enables users to take action in case of emergencies such as sending urgent messages and ensures safety while users are getting in and out of it. Its features are easy to understand, and it is also equipped with audio guidance and sound-generating buttons, so users can use it without worry.
