Bucharest, Rumania - June 24, 2015 - With the objective of bringing comfort to life with every wiring devices product, Panasonic keeps making strategic moves in Europe in line with its vision of "becoming number one in the industry by 2018". Panasonic executives took the floor and made important explanations in the launching event. The executives of the company shared their strategies concerning the process and the future.

Sales and Marketing Board Member Mr. Kazuhito Takahashi mentioned in his speech that "Panasonic has two main strategies; the first one is "Top Share Strategy" which is related to market leadership by country and the second one is "GO WEST" strategy to reach the world leadership in wiring devices sector in 2018. Panasonic has no.1 market share in Asia because of the market leadership in most of the Asian countries such as Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and India (according to a Panasonic survey as of June 26, 2015). Asian market leadership followed by Ukraine and Turkey, as having no.1 market share. Within our GO WEST strategy Panasonic's targeted market is Eastern Europe, especially the Balkans. The location of Balkan is strategically important because it is located between west Europe where local-global brands are strong and Turkey/Ukraine where we are strong. Within the Balkan countries, we decided Romania as strategic country with the expectation of market growth and will introduce our wiring devices product portfolio."

Panasonic held its first launching event in Romania on 26th June, 2015 at Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest Hotel and introduced its cutting-edge technology wiring devices products from various segments. Panasonic wiring devices products offer a wide range of functions to cover the needs of the end-users, including new electronical products. Also with offering different design alternatives, colors and materials, Panasonic wiring devices can meet the expectations of the customers with different needs and taste.

Approximately 220 guests attended the launching event, which got started with an impressive concert by Quartet Anima band of 4 woman musicians. A number of VIPs were present at the event, including members from Turkish consul. Then, singer Marcela Scripcaru and Sergiu Teslaru with his saxophone took the stage during dinner. Launching event, continued with the performance by Mandinga band that represented Romania in 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.
