Panasonic Awarded SAM Gold Class Distinction in Sustainability for Fourth Consecutive Year

Panasonic was awarded the Gold Class distinction in the CSR category on January 26 of this year by SAM (Sustainable Asset Management), one of the most highly recognized asset management companies for sustainability investments.

Panasonic received the Gold distinction for the fourth consecutive year, which validates Panasonic's efforts to achieve growth for the company while contributing to the environment, as demonstrated by the company's high scores on the environment in the Leisure Goods sector, which includes home-appliance makers and others.

Panasonic continues to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society through an open dialog with society based on its founding management philosophy of the company as a "public entity of society".
