Held every two years, the event sees companies from all over the world taking part and exhibiting their latest imaging technologies and products.

Panasonic also participated in this year's event under the theme of "Changing Photography", showcasing its latest products, including the new LUMIX GH3, which was introduced to the press by Mr. Ichiro Kitao of the Imaging Business Group of the AVC Networks Company at the press conference held on September 17.

This year, the company's booth was divided up in to separate areas by theme, and at the center of these, was the G-series and Premium Lenses areas.

In the G-series area, the company's wide range of mirrorless cameras, from the compact GF series to the top end GH series, were on display. Here, the visitors to the booth had a chance to test the cameras on display at the jungle-themed shooting area as well as learn more about the functions and usage of the cameras from the specialist staff on hand. At the booth, professional photographers, including Getty Images' staff photojournalist for Asia, Daniel Berehulak and National Geographic photographer, Ira Block, were also invited to give talks and seminars on Panasonic's cameras and photography techniques.
