Panasonic to Demonstrate Energy Solutions for Sustainable Living at CEATEC Japan 2010
Osaka, Japan - Panasonic Corporation will demonstrate the company's environmental vision for the home and the wider community at CEATEC Japan 2010, a comprehensive cutting-edge IT and electronics trade show to be held from October 5 to 9, 2010 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, east of Tokyo.
Panasonic aims to become the No.1 Green Innovation Company in the Electronics Industry by 2018, the company's 100th anniversary. It has been striving to attain the goal by placing environmental consideration central to all its business activities. While pursuing the goal, Panasonic will spur green revolution, beginning in everyday life and spreading around the world to preserve the environment for future generations. At CEATEC 2010, Panasonic will present various solutions involving the entire house and the entire town for realizing a sustainable green lifestyle which is safe, comfortable and enjoyable. The Panasonic booth will also highlight an exciting and expanding 3D world with its Full HD 3D plasma TV at the center.
Energy Solution Zone
The Energy Solution Zone will highlight Panasonic's "Home Energy Management System (HEMS)" that controls energy created, stored and saved in the home to achieve optimum energy efficiency according to the resident's lifestyle. Also exhibited in the zone include intelligent "Networkable Eco Navi Home Appliances" that will elevate the appliances to a whole new level through networking with other home electronics; "EV (Eco Car) System Solutions" based on Panasonic's eco ideas for the entire house, which will contribute to the spread of electric vehicles; and "Energy Solutions for the Entire Town" that integrates home, buildings and stores in the town with Panasonic's energy management system. The zone will demonstrate Panasonic's ideas for implementing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable lifestyle in a sustainable way.
Network AV Zone
In the Network AV Zone, Panasonic will present multifaceted 3D presentations, featuring a 3D mass display that consists of 33 3D plasma displays ranging from 42- to 152-inches. Panasonic's "Leading 3D World" will be showcased with its 3D products designed for consumers and professionals. The world's first consumer 3D camcorder1) and 3D-compatible LUMIX G Micro System cameras with the world's first interchangeable 3D lens2) allow consumers to create their own 3D content. For professionals, Panasonic's 3D professional camcorders, 3D editing equipments and 3D imaging technologies will be displayed. This zone will also introduce Panasonic's expanding and enhanced networking capabilities of its AV products, including a corner to give a glimpse of future IPTVs.
