Panasonic to Demonstrate Comfortable and Eco-Friendly Lifestyle at CEATEC Japan 2009

Osaka, Japan - Panasonic Corporation will present its vision of tomorrow's lifestyle under the theme of "Excellent Connectivity for Greater Comfort and Ecology!" at CEATEC JAPAN 2009, a comprehensive cutting-edge IT and electronics trade show, to be held from October 6 to 10, 2009 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City on the outskirts of Tokyo.
As digital full high-definition (Full HD) TVs, Blu-ray Disc players/recorders, and other HD AV products have become widely available and home networking has become faster, consumers now enjoy a more affluent and comfortable lifestyle. Meanwhile, pursuing harmonious coexistence with the global environment continues to be a challenge, calling for efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, the primary cause of global warming.
At CEATEC Japan 2009, the Panasonic booth will present its ideas for realizing a comfortable and eco-friendly lifestyle, demonstrating its comprehensive ability to offer a wide array of consumer-electronics products that incorporate cutting-edge AV technologies and unparalleled energy-saving technology.

<Keynote Speech by President Ohtsubo>

On the first day of the CEATEC exhibition, Panasonic President Fumio Ohtsubo will deliver a keynote address on the theme of "Aiming to 'Create New Value for Better Living' in a New Era." The keynote will take place from 12:50 to 13:40 at the Convention Hall, 2nd floor of the International Convention Hall, Makuhari Messe.
