Panasonic selected again for Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes
Panasonic - the leading brand by which Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. is known - has once again been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI World), the major indexes for socially responsible investment (SRI). Panasonic has been a part of these indexes for the past three years.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes are stock indexes developed through a cooperation between Dow Jones Indexes, STOXX Limited in the U.S., and Sustainable Asset Management (SAM) in Switzerland, based on analysis of corporate economic, environmental and social performance.
