Panasonic HD announces awards results of the Kid Witness News (KWN) Global Summit 2025

Osaka, Japan – Panasonic Holdings Corporation Co., Ltd. (Panasonic HD) hosted the international event KWN Global Summit 2025 on Saturday, October 25, 2025, as part of its educational support program, Kid Witness News (KWN). The summit brought together participants from 10 countries—Brazil, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States, and Vietnam—combining an in-person event in Japan with live-streaming for participants from other countries to join remotely. During the event, Panasonic HD announced the winners of four distinct awards across both the primary category (ages 12 and under) and the secondary category (ages 13 to 18), selected from representative works submitted from participating countries.

Kid Witness News (KWN) is a global video education program designed to enhance creativity and communication skills while fostering teamwork through video production by children at the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels. In 2025, over 3,000 children from 320 teams across 10 countries—Brazil, Cambodia, China India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, United States, and Vietnam—participated in video production activities.
