Panasonic ESCLIPE LIVE by SOLAR POWER

On March 9, 2016, Panasonic has broadcasted live of the total solar eclipse from Ternate Island, Indonesia,
using solar power generated by the Power Supply Container.

using the Power Supply Container and Lumix GH4 cameras.

Panasonic's Power Supply Container was developed to create and store energy in order to support the lives of people who live in areas without access to electricity. The container creates energy during the day with 12 HIT solar panels that boast the world's highest level efficiency (3kW), and stores energy with 24 lead-acid storage batteries (17.2kWh), which offers excellent power and durability.
In Indonesia, the containers are helping to improve the educational environment by powering IT equipment such as PCs and projectors, as well as LED lighting and air conditioners.
