Panasonic in Numbers: IOC Young Leaders

The IOC Young Leaders Programme is a joint project between the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Panasonic that seeks to develop future leaders by selecting 25 young people worldwide every two years to help them leverage the power of sport and make a difference in their communities. The programme works together with initiatives in various countries to address a range of social and environmental issues, many of them focus areas of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As people who have experienced highs and lows in their continued endeavors, the IOC and Panasonic believe that Young Leaders are uniquely positioned to help build a better tomorrow through sport. To date*, 119 Young Leaders representing 76 countries have participated in the programme.
